As much as we hate to be closed for an additional week, it is vital that we take additional time to work on implementing solutions to this problem as there is very real danger that we could lose our lease and be completely shut down if customers continue blocking surrounding businesses before we open on our Monday and Friday morning serving days. We are currently working with the surrounding businesses on placing barriers along Three Points Road to prevent this problem of our clients parking on the side of the road; as well as doing additional training with our staff and volunteers to improve our operational efficiency when serving food. We hope to reopen Circle of Hope Community Center’s food pantry on Monday October 30th. Those who have signed up to volunteer should still come this week as normal to help us prepare for reopening.
